6 STEPS to SIX FIGURES

So I’ve been working with people long enough to see patterns… and a common pattern I see every single day, whether that’s working with my fitness peeps or helping small business owners get online, is this: “I’ll start Monday!”

NO MORE “I’ll start Monday!” – Let’s start today!
So I know it’s easy to just simply give advice or drop some motivation, but I’m not about that. I’ve been obsessed with taking concepts like motivation, energy, reading a book a week, healthy habits, morning rituals (etc) and breaking them down step by step to actually make them actionable! I used to get extremely frustrated with myself after reading a book on a topic but still having no idea where to start or what steps to take…
Every single time you put things off… even if it’s just for day, you lose!
So, that being said, here’s my advice and a few steps you can take it you’re one of those (and let’s face it, we all are at times) ‘I’ll start Monday‘ types.
- FIRST thing’s first. We need to set some solid goals (our what) but also set a solid WHY. We need to know what we’re doing or this will NOT WORK for the long term! Without a direction to head in or goal in mind we’ll be walking around trying to accomplish random goals, failing often, giving up all the time and constantly living in an anxious state because we don’t know what the F we’re doing! I have tons of free resources and downloads HERE if you’d like, or if you’re not interested in that then make sure to make your own goal setting sheets!
- SECOND: Awesome! So you set some goals! Now that we figured out what it is we want, we’ll need to create a strong personal mission statement of WHY we want it! WHY are you chasing those goals / dreams. Without a strong why it’ll be hard to get up early in the morning and you’ll constantly find yourself putting things off until Monday… or next week, or next month, or next year…
- THIRD: Set a time limit on when you’d like to accomplish your immediate goals, and don’t be afraid to push the limits a little here. Setting a tight deadline that we NEED to finish will help keep us moving forward – and help keep us focused on the goal so that doing things on Monday aren’t even an option anymore!
